All the doctors at Gonstead, Stangl, and Arkowski are in network with Medicare. Medicare does require outcome assessment questionnaires (OATS) every 30 days while receiving chiropractic care. There are also limitations on what Medicare will cover. Medicare only covers adjustments of the neck and spine. Extremity adjustments, such as knees, are not covered by medicare. The initial exam for chiropractic services is also not covered. Some supplemental plans will cover the exam cost, but not all of them.

Please note, if you have a Medicare advantage plan, that insurance carrier is in charge of your Medicare benefits. Instead of using the “Medicare New Patient Paperwork” link on the New Chiropractic Patient Forms page, please click on your advantage plan insurance provider. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call our office.

Our office is not in network with Security Health Plan, so if your Medicare advantage plan is through Security Health Plan, our office is out of network. Some Security Health plans have out of network benefits. It’s best to contact the number on your insurance card to determine your benefits.
